Toad's

Jared and his good friend Dylan have birthdays that are two days apart. So we decided to celebrate together. This year we decided to go to Toad's Fun Zone. It was way fun for everyone.

The Arcade was first on the list. Everyone got about $3 to spend. Birthday boys had about $5.

Then it was on to Laser Tag. This was extremely fun for the boys.

Then we played miniature golf. This was a chaotic mess. Getting 8 years olds to understand the process of waiting for one person to finish before you go is very hard. Thanks to Annika, Kennedy and Alyssa and Andrew, we sort of kept order and made them wait their turn.

We also had pizza and root beer or sprite, and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla ice cream. Thanks Ang for arranging everything. Happy 8th Birthday Jared and Dylan.

Crazy 8

It is hard for me to believe that my sweet Jared was born EIGHT years ago today. We love having him in our family. He loves to be the center of attention and is almost always smiling. He has a wonderful testimony of the Gospel, and cannot wait to be baptized. He is a totally awesome little guy. Happy Birthday Jared! We love you.

New Do

I finally convinced Kevin that Kiana needed a haircut and not just a trim. Her hair is so fine and thin, it just looked straggly and undone unless I put it in a pony tail of some kind. I think she looks much more adorable now. Kevin likes it too. I asked him if he wished we would have done it months ago, he never responded. Kiana likes it too, but it can still get in her eyes.

I got about 4 inches cut off of mine. I like it this length. Maybe in the spring or summer I will get a shorter do, I will just have to wait and see how I feel then. The color comes next, but it will be a few more weeks.
