Disneyland Trip Day 7 (October 13)

This was our last day at Disneyland, and so we used our volunteer passes that we had earned in February. We had helped with the Special Needs Winter Olympics. Well everyone except Kiana and Grandma. They had park hopper tickets, but the rest of us only had tickets to Disneyland. Kevin traded passes with my mom and took Kiana over to California Adventures to do a few things. While there she got to meet Mr. Incredible.

Meanwhile.... Grandma, the boys and I explored Tom Sawyer's Island. Kevin was bummed he missed this, but he was having fun with Kiana.

The sign above is head is hard to read, it says unknown hostage.

When Kevin and Kiana came back to Disneyland, we went to the Haunted Mansion. The kids still did not like this ride, however it is less scary decorated as The Nightmare Before Christmas. I am now being corrected. Andrew says he liked it.

Today was also the day we told the kids they could spend their money. We visited Downtown Disney and went to Build-a-bear. Kiana built a bunny that she later named Daisy. Jared built a white bear that he named Luke. Andrew built a dinosaur named Yoda. After stuffing, washing and pick out clothes for her bear, Kiana said she didn't feel good. We asked them to hold everything so we could go eat, thinking she was hungry. We ate at Rainforest Cafe. She only ate a few bites and fell asleep in my arms. We finished eating, then had to go back and pay for her bunny while she slept.
Then we went back into Disneyland so the boys could build light sabers. While we were paying for them, Kiana threw up all over Kevin. So there ended our Disneyland trip. We quickly finished up all our shopping and headed back to my Uncle Dean's. We were going to drop off my mom and continue up to Visalia to visit some friends, but with Kiana being sick we decided to wait until morning.

What we learned on this trip: 1. Do not buy transit passes, it is much easier to drive your own car and pay for parking.
2. Never go on a Friday or Saturday.

Everyone had a blast and we cannot wait until the next time.
