This is what happens when....

....you throw your retainers in the garbage.

Andrew went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese and left his retainers on his plate. He told us about an hour after he got home. So all plans were put on hold, so he could look. (We still had a few things to do before the baptism, yeah none of those things got done). He searched in the dumpster for about an hour, before we had to leave to get ready for Jared's baptism. Too bad that table bussers don't keep an eye out for such things. We never found it.
On the bright side, I think he learned a lesson and will leave it home or put it in a pocket next time. He will probably be fit for new ones at his appointment on Wednesday. He may need a job to help pay for it, so if you have any odd jobs you need done, give him a call.

UPDATE: The friend that he went with, told him at school today that they found his retainer in the van. Yeah. We get there to find out it is just the top one. We searched for about 15-20 more minutes for the bottom one. Oh well better to replace one than two. Then we had an idea. The van was parked on the street when he got out of it. So back we go to look in the street and surrounding area. We found it!!! Bad news is it was in 4 pieces.

Sad! But I'm glad you solved your mystery. Too bad you had to dumpster dive for nothing!

No fun searching the dumpster, but at least you found one of them!
