Get off the Floor

Jared was laying on the floor the other day, and Kevin told him to get up and get his book so we could read. This is not what he wanted to do and was not very happy about it. Kevin asked him again to get off the floor. Jared then stood up and began crying. He said "I don't know how to walk if I can not have my feet on the floor." We were trying so hard not to laugh, but how do you not? Kevin gave him a hug and told him that his feet were allowed to touch the floor so he could walk and go get his book.
