Kiana was jumping from the computer chair onto the lovesac. I am guessing that the chair moved backward when she jumped, causing her to miss the lovesac, and land on her wrist. She was crying pretty hard and refused to use her arm or hand for anything. I called the pediatrician office, they said they do not to x-rays and to take her to the insta-care. The doctor there looked at it and said he would be surprised if it was not broken. Sure enough she buckled both bones. She was pretty swollen, so they put on this temporary splint and she will get an actual cast on Thursday. She wants a pink one. We will post pictures of that later. Maybe I can convince Kevin to come with me and take pictures of the cast being put on.

A funny story that goes with this...Kiana really wanted her dad throughout the ordeal, so when we were done at the clinic, we went to see Kevin at work. It was lunch time so we decided to go to lunch. Kiana said she wanted McDonalds. We pulled into the parking lot, she looked at the playland and said that is not a good place to be with a broken arm, we should go to Chick-fil-a instead. So we went there. As we were eating, Kiana lets out a burp so loud that half of the restaurant turned to look at us. We just started laughing. She said she was going to drink more and do it again. Kevin told her that it was not polite to do that in public. She said okay and did not do it again. She did play in their play area for a little while and was fine. She is so cute.
Two of her friends, Kambria and Indianna, brought her some treats to help her feel better. She is very loved.
